We’re excited to announce the release of TrustShop Version 4.1. This update introduces new features and improvements designed to increase the performance of your review request emails, helping you collect more reviews in less time and with less friction for your customers.

Submit reviews directly in emails with In-email Forms
In-email Forms allow customers to submit reviews directly within your review request emails, without needing to click through to a separate review submission form.
When customers open the email, they can immediately write and submit a review. By removing extra steps in the review process, In-email Forms make it easier for customers to leave reviews, resulting in higher submission rates and faster review collection.

New button style: Rating Stars
A new action button style is now available for review request emails.
In addition to the classic “Write a review” button, you can now use Rating Stars. This style visually reflects the product rating action, making it more intuitive and visually appealing. As a result, customers are more likely to engage and click through to leave a review.

Send review requests based on delivery status with AfterShip integration
Collecting more reviews is not only about email design or content, but also about timing.
The best moment to ask for a review is after customers have received and experienced the product. In some cases, review request emails scheduled solely based on order fulfillment may be sent before the order is delivered, which can lead to a negative customer experience.
To solve this, TrustShop now supports Order Delivery as a trigger for review request emails. Through the integration with AfterShip, a leading order tracking platform, TrustShop can detect when an order has been delivered and automatically send review requests at the most relevant time.

In your email settings, you can select Order Delivery as the trigger and apply a delay that matches your product category. For example, fashion and apparel products often perform best when review requests are sent 2-5 days after delivery, while skincare products typically benefit from a longer delay of 10-14 days to allow customers time to see initial results.
This feature requires installing and connecting the AfterShip Order Tracking app. More details are available in the setup guide.
Other improvements in this release
That’s not all! TrustShop 4.1 also includes several enhancements to help you collect reviews more efficiently:
- Advanced audience filters: You can now exclude customers who have opted out of email marketing or who have never engaged with your review request emails. This helps improve open rates and protect your email domain reputation. Learn how.
- Improved email design experience: The email editor has been redesigned for easier customization and a smoother design workflow.
- Multi-product review flow: For orders with multiple products, customers can now submit reviews more easily. After reviewing one product, they’re automatically guided to the next—helping you collect reviews for more products per order.
